Treasury Technology Transitions: TMS, APIs, AI and Fraud
Treasury is changing rapidly and much of this is caused by technological advances. These changes are impacting the TMS space (from capabilities, adoption and growth rates) to better payments (i.e. RTP, SDA, etc.) and execution methods (API), formats (XML) and the use of ML and AI. This environment is offering massive opportunities for better control, increased efficiency and greater organizational flexibility. Criminals are also leveraging technology to expand their reach, target individual companies and ensure that crime pays. This democratization of treasury technology has both pros and cons. Key data points from industry surveys will provide additional context on the trends, development and scale of these changes and the plans.
